John Lindberg of Travel & Leisure recently named London, "The Capital of Food," and for good reason. Lindberg says that "there's never been a better or, frankly, wackier time for food in London."

When you visit, be sure to check out these three spots for some of the best food in the city.

1. Flat Iron

Do you love steak? Then you'll love Flat Iron - a craft butchery with remarkable steak. Their location on Denmark Street is usually quieter than their Beak Street location, and they don't take reservations so you may have to wait a bit. But trust us, it's worth it.

2. Bao

Meet the best Taiwanese food you've ever tasted. Bao has transformed from a street food operation to an amazing storefront. Small bites, delicious drinks, and amazing fried chicken make this place a must visit. Don't let the line discourage you, Bao is worth the wait.

DRINK

London has some of the best pubs and late night venues in Europe. Take a look at three of our favorite spots for drinks - each has its' own flair.

1. The Churchill Arms

Located in Notting Hill, The Churchill Arms claims to be the most famous watering hole in town - and we can't argue. Built in 1750 and once frequented regularly by Winston Churchill's grandparents, there's a special history attached to the pub. On top of being guaranteed to get a good ale, there's also a delicious Thai restaurant in the back. Not a bad place to spend a night.

2. The White Hart

Established in 1905, The White Hart is a traditional kitchen and ale house. Their Waterloo location is extremely central, meaning you'll have lots of time to enjoy a pint when you stop by. Whether you're looking for a German pilsner, and Italian lager, or a British cask ale, you'll find it at The White Hart.

3. BANGFACE

Trying to get a little crazy? Then BANGFACE is the spot for you. If you're into inflatables being thrown into the crowd, silly signs, a ball pit, DJs playing insane sets, dressing up in costumes, and the occasional mosh pit, you've found your night out. Okay, maybe it's a lot of crazy.

SEE & DO

London is a massive city. It's divided into 32 boroughs and is daunting for the first time traveler. However, if you're visiting for the first time, there are a few things you have to see and do.

1. Visit St. Paul's Cathedral & Westminster Abbey

Two of the world's greatest churches, St. Pauls and Westminster Abbey should not be missed when visiting London. The history of each church dates back over 1,000 years, and they offer a special atmosphere that history buffs will love. Give yourself ample time to explore both. 2. Take a Stroll Through Camden

Camden is a famous cultural filled area in London, with an eclectic mix of punk rockers, hipsters, goths, and tourists alike. You can enjoy street food from all types of international cuisine, or view the unique artwork on display. It's one of the coolest spots in all of London.

3. Tour The Tower of London

Located in Central London, the Tower of London is a historic castle sitting on the North Bank of the River Thames. It was founded in the year 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England and was used as a prison up until 1952. Go with a guide and learn about the prominent role played by the Tower of London in English history.
